Wrap a tape measure around your ribcage just underneath the lower band of your bra.
Ensure you are not wearing a padded bra.
Hold the tape measure straight across your back and pull it firmly across your chest, but not tight.
Round the measurement up to the closest inch.
To measure your cup size, place the tape across the fullest part of your bust.
The difference in inches between your bust measurement and your back measurement will determine your cup size.
If the difference is:
1 inch = A cup
2 inch = B cup
3 inch = C cup
4 inch = D cup
5 inch = E cup
If your bra straps are digging into your shoulders then you are pulling your bra straps too tight. This means that your bra is too big in the back and not big enough in the cup.
This problem could also make your breasts are protruding from beneath your bras underwire
If the band of your bra is riding up at the back, the bra is too big for you and you will need to purchase one with a smaller back size.
If the underwire of your bra is digging into your armpit then the cup size is too small for you, and you will need to purchase one with a bigger cup size.
If your breast is spilling over the top of your bra then the cup size is too small. You will need to purchase a bra
with a larger cup.
Alternatively if your cup is puckering or protruding from the breast the cup size is too large for your breast.
